    @ShereenBhan @CNBCTV18Live Well! we ran MTNL to ground and have BSNL also and if govt stake is bad otherwise, how can it be good in this case? Will govt fund capex and / or give free hand to other partners ? Our love for good quality stuff is increasing, with each passing day .

    @1shankarsharma Policies for GOI owned cos are worst see BSNL, MTNL they are still struggling to launch 4G due to policy issues

    @latha_venkatesh BSNL sell kar diya. Mtnl sell kar diya, Halla kar kar sarkar ko badnaam kar rahay the, ab jab wapas le li to phir bhi problem. There was a huge gold import last year, I hope govt will sell some and restructure this company. This govt is clever, slowly it will sell the share.

    @DaneParam that's what they have fed us thru media. what makes u think what Ambani did thru Jio , Tatas or others can't do ? or what if BSNL MTNL underperformance due to inefficiency in the system were addressed 8 years ago in 2014 ? May be there would never be a Jio .. ?

    @aditya_kondawar Great news Now This company is govt owned and no Agr payments to be done in future as well Govt will never pay dues to themselves looking at company valuation They should merge Vodafone idea with BSNL MTNL as well

    @rdkriplani But just reading more on this and now there are murmurs of merger with BSNL/MTNL. That'll be a bad move IMO. Guess I'll wait and watch how this moves. Have a 2.5% exposure @ 7.50.

    @devusinh MTNL Mumbai service is hopeless with very high plan charges. Please rationalise the chgs otherwise long standing customers like me will also leave for private players! also not able to recharge failures with five payment debits!

    BSNL / MTNL need 4G spectrum for operations. Similarly Voda Idea needs OFC network of BBNL & BSNL. If Govt allows BSNL / MTNL and Voda Idea to use each other spectrum & OFC, it will be win win situation for both companies.
