    @raghav_chadha You touched topics tangentially. 1. Jio, BSNL, MTNL, AIRTEL are selling SIMs even though there's no network. MTNL doesn't have network around Indian Spinal Injuries Centre Vasant Kunj New Delhi-70. Jio doesn't have network in the same place.

    Most irritating about the Supreme Court despite whatever technological advancements might have been made is that the phone lines are still running on MTNL! They never work!!

    A general theme of Government owned service - Infinite job security, regular increments with cost of living, zero performance accountability or motivation to keep business sustainable. I kicked out MTNL the day Reliance infocom started landline. (2000-s)

    True. So True. I remember when my father died in 88, I was barely a teen. We had two LAN lines. I was trying to get one transferred from Delhi home. I was young and naive. MTNL guy was corrupted and I had no help from family. He took our one line to transfer the other one. India has come a long way looking at those days.

    @JM_Scindia sir my ftth number 21403534 ftth number not working . I have tried to complain about MTNL websites and landline number 1130 but both are not working. Kindly direct to the concerned person to solve the problem.

    @BSNLCorporate @CMDBSNL @robertravi21 It is not available. Fake advertising. Your customer care service says to connect MTNL. Whereas it is not seen. Upon that I heard you have ******* with another company for network in mumbai, which is not working. Even VoWifi is not working.

MTNL now focuses on assets like prime land/towers in these cities, monetizing via sales (e.g., ₹350 Cr Mumbai BKC property approved Dec 2025). It reports heavy losses (₹897 Cr net loss Q3 FY26, revenue down 24% YoY) & debt over ₹23k Cr. BSNL is vital: Pan-India leader in rural/strategic areas (where privates lag), BharatNet broadband, defense SATCOM, & secure networks for govt depts/police. Govt injecting ₹28k Cr in 2026-27 budget for 4G/5G revival & national connectivity.
