    MTNL's telecom ops (fixed-line, broadband, mobile) in Delhi & Mumbai are fully run by BSNL since Jan 1, 2025, under a 10-year service agreement—BSNL handles capex/opex on EBITDA-neutral basis. MTNL now focuses on assets like prime land/towers in these cities, monetizing via sales (e.g., ₹350 Cr Mumbai BKC property approved Dec 2025). It reports heavy losses (₹897 Cr net loss Q3 FY26, revenue down 24% YoY) & debt over ₹23k Cr. BSNL is vital: Pan-India leader in rural/strategic areas (where privates lag), BharatNet broadband, defense SATCOM, & secure networks for govt depts/police.     @saurabhsin2525 According to the team, you are in roaming. Please select the network manually and try. There is no barring from MTNL side.

    @ANI This is basically the norm in BSNL/ MTNL. Even when GM/ PGM visits officers were instructed to arrange snacks, water, taking them for lunch. And the Engineer who was supposed to manage the network is send to manage itinerary. After this fiasco all these instructions will be oral.

    @kayezad @MTNLOfficial Everyone was given VRS. Same und. cable issue, we paid bills for 2-3 months and then stopped. It was an old no. MTNL shamefully sent bills for 6 mnths more. Complaints online, offline, nothing happened.They took us to Lok adalat twice. Paperwork was strong, judge blasted them.

    MTNL Can’t Pay Bond Interest on Time India’s state telecom company MTNL is in money trouble. It couldn’t put funds into a special escrow account for the next interest payment on its bonds due to not having enough cash. This is for the 6th half-yearly payment on 7.75% bonds, due March 24, 2026. The bonds have government backing, so if MTNL defaults, the govt might step in. #MTNL #FinanceNews
