MTNL now focuses on assets like prime land/towers in these cities, monetizing via sales (e.g., ₹350 Cr Mumbai BKC property approved Dec 2025). It reports heavy losses (₹897 Cr net loss Q3 FY26, revenue down 24% YoY) & debt over ₹23k Cr. BSNL is vital: Pan-India leader in rural/strategic areas (where privates lag), BharatNet broadband, defense SATCOM, & secure networks for govt depts/police.     @zerodhamarkets Maharatna label amplifies DNA, doesn't change it. NTPC was profitable before autonomy. MTNL had Navratna since '97 and still cratered. I think the harder question: does CIL's 82% market share represent earned dominance or just a legal monopoly that never had to compete?

    @mtnl The mtnl service is poor . No connection from last 2 months No one is listing and saying no tender hence no service Is this the attitude of MTNL staff. We are paying monthly bill with no connection . No one in this area is listing. Kindly advice

    Visited MTNL Kandivali W & BSNL Borivali W for SIM required during Agatti visit. Shockingly informed that BSNL SIM may not work on OnePlus phone and no option except to buy pvt SIM. Why should citizens face compatibility issues using Govt services? @JM_Scindia @DoT_India

    @BSNLCorporate I have ported my mobile no 9757290819 from MTNL mumbai to BSNL mumbai, I have been deprived from out going & Incomming call with not internet in my home network i.e.mumbai circle U R call center is not responding Pls do needful to resolve the issu

    @InvestorOfJAMMU RJ said all PSUs are inefficient unless they are given monopoly Best case is BSNL MTNL is finished BSNL has been kept alive Why not the govt. is merging VI and BSNL They anyway own VI and VI is also going down the drain
