LoustinianΓ³s Augustus (@princepoptimus) reportedThe evidence-based conclusion β no spinning, no partisanship: UPA deserves genuine credit for: β INS Vikrant keel, Vikramaditya deal, P-75 contract β RTI, Aadhaar foundation, nuclear deal β CPSE framework (Maharatna/Navratna architecture) β T-90 armour, C-17 airlift, Arjun Mk1 induction β IIT/IIM expansion, MGNREGA, RTE UPA's honest failures: β 28-year artillery gap (not broken despite 10 years in power) β NPA crisis β hid βΉ8β10L cr bad loans via CDR β World's #1 arms importer; domestic industry starved β MMRCA: 10 years, 0 jets, 0 orders for HAL β No insolvency law β defaulters ruled banks β Bofors, AgustaWestland β defence procurement corrupted NDA's record: β Artillery drought ended. INSAS replaced. Ammo indigenised 91%. β IBC 2016 β paradigm shift in creditor rights β Defence exports 34Γ. Production 3.3Γ. β Vikrant commissioned. Arihant + Arighaat operational. β Operation Sindoor β 9 targets, indigenous weapons, validated. NDA's honest gaps: β Kaveri engine still stuck (multi-decade inherited problem) β P-75I unsigned (2026) β Disinvestment targets repeatedly missed β Agnipath: bold idea, rushed rollout β BSNL/MTNL β still unresolved The bottom line: on public sector, defence, banking, Navy and Army β NDA's structural record is stronger. UPA's contributions were often real but came with corruption, paralysis, and hidden rot. NDA fixed the rot β expensively, sometimes slowly, but durably.
