  @TelecomTalk First please try to provide proper coverage and signal strength. All this useless hi-fi talk later. By leaving BSNL to die and wasting tax payer money on Vodafone, trying to fool people. What is the status of MTNL/BSNL in Mumbai? Even airports are not covered. Shame Telecom.

  @zerodhamarkets Maharatna label amplifies DNA, doesn't change it. NTPC was profitable before autonomy. MTNL had Navratna since '97 and still cratered. I think the harder question: does CIL's 82% market share represent earned dominance or just a legal monopoly that never had to compete?

The company will shut down sooner or later due to incapable people in decision making process as business and profitability will be impacted. Look at MTNL and many other companies.   A general theme of Government owned service - Infinite job security, regular increments with cost of living, zero performance accountability or motivation to keep business sustainable. I kicked out MTNL the day Reliance infocom started landline. (2000-s)

  .@reliancejio #JioFibre Jio is the new MTNL of Mumbai. Same indifference to complaints of poor service. My service down for 3 days now and no light at end of tunnel. Our country is back to square one after all talk of telecom revolution. All monopolies end up behaving this way.

  @mid_day Both BSNL & MTNL are now stopping copper lines & their linemen telling, rather forcing people to buy their sub standard fiber internet connections. Local cable network fiber internet is much more efficient in MMRDA area than these 2 companies & cheaper too.

  After 20 years with private operators, I ported my numbers to BSNL in Nov 2025 in MTNL Delhi Circle expecting better 4G services. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely difficult with multiple network and service issues for the last 3 months.
