You can visit the nearest MTNL office with a valid ID proof and UPC code (for porting) to get a new SIM or complete the port-in process. Hope that incidental govt investment in Vodafone works out something soon to become an alternative to poor service giants Jio / Airtel. Govt must truly revive BSNL to competitive level and let Vodafone give some jitters to duopolistic companies.
