St Srikanth of Depot (@IndusFederalist) reportedI'm glad that we've never had a BSNL connection in our life. Not even for the landline. Tata Indicom and Airtel kid for two plus decades. We had applied for an MTNL connection in 2003. They flat out refused for some frivolous reason. Got Tata instead. Never looked back.

Wrestling In Vein (@wrestlinginvein) reportedIn the era of 5G, @BSNLCorporate can't even Deliver normal 4G speed. @MTNLOfficial denies any possibility and network connectivity. Loses signal out of the blue, and you are in no man's land. What a pathetic show of work by BSNL and MTNL.

Abhijeet Kale (@AbbhijeetKale) reported@MTNLOfficial The MTNL mumbai prepaid number for my father was not getting recharged initially. I had to go to BKC office from Pune for doing just that, even after that there is no network on the cell phone. What should senior citizens do for getting simple things done?

Aditya Garg 🇮🇳 (@Garg_Aditya_) reportedI was looking at the active Telecom Companies in India today. Honestly, it is surprising to see the list now compared to a decade ago. 🤯 Here are the ones left standing: 1. Reliance Jio 2. Bharti Airtel 3. Vodafone Idea (Vi) 4. BSNL / MTNL ...And that is literally it for major commercial mobile operators. Remember 10 years ago when we used to have all of these? 💀 Tata Docomo 💀 Aircel 💀 Reliance Communications (RCom) 💀 Telenor / Uninor 💀 Virgin Mobile 💀 MTS 💀 Videocon We went from 10+ operators fiercely competing over our ₹10 and ₹20 recharges to a near Duopoly. The Indian telecom sector went from a heavily crowded market to a high-stakes survival game in just one decade. The cost of data went down, but the cost of survival went through the roof. 📉

Rajat Garg (@tajar_grag) reported@diveshkumar786 1) BSNL sim should be 5G Ready as tower conversion to 4G is ongoing 2) You will still receive MTNL signal as In-Dolphin (3G) or 40439 (4G) 3) Signals will show as Roaming 4) Reception varies at large depending upon the area, location (indoor/outdoor)
