SIDHeN SRIVASTAVA (@sid_sidhen) reported@Ananth_IRAS Went to Telegraph Office in Mumbai some time back. One of the floors is handling MTNL pensioners' issue. Anil Rana,CFA (@AnilCfa) reported@jitenkparmar When a core business model breaks, adaptation is slow, painful, and uncertain. MTNL never fully recovered from the shift in telecom. Indian IT now faces its own disruption — AI is replacing billable hours with outcome-based delivery, reducing the need for large headcounts. They may adapt. But timelines are unclear, winners are unknown, and valuations are still not cheap. In disruption phases, hope is not a strategy. Only deep margin of safety (very low valuations) protects capital. Not every “cheap” stock is value — many are value traps in disguise.

Suresh Nair (@SureshN79413855) reported@TelecomTalk First please try to provide proper coverage and signal strength. All this useless hi-fi talk later. By leaving BSNL to die and wasting tax payer money on Vodafone, trying to fool people. What is the status of MTNL/BSNL in Mumbai? Even airports are not covered. Shame Telecom.

Nagesh Pai (blue tick) (@nagpai) reportedA general theme of Government owned service - Infinite job security, regular increments with cost of living, zero performance accountability or motivation to keep business sustainable. I kicked out MTNL the day Reliance infocom started landline. (2000-s)

St Srikanth of Depot (@IndusFederalist) reportedI'm glad that we've never had a BSNL connection in our life. Not even for the landline. Tata Indicom and Airtel kid for two plus decades. We had applied for an MTNL connection in 2003. They flat out refused for some frivolous reason. Got Tata instead. Never looked back.
