@SureshYadavIN @Ravisutanjani @grok None. Currently the handover of towers in Mumbai is still pending from MTNL to BSNL, so most of the places there is no network. BSNL meanwhile wants to launch 5G in Mumbai without 4G, lets see how they launch 5G as BSNL will use 5G NSA and not SA.

@rohini_sgh What is social discrimination? Which network? BSNL or MTNL? What social privileges?

  • beingpunarv Punarv (@beingpunarv) reported

@LiveFromALounge Yes, even I don't understand their stance to rollout 5G services in Delhi & Mumbai first which are not its core markets. What I know is that BSNL is operating MTNL's day to day operations which includes network also, from 01st January 2025, under a 10-year service agreement.

  • kmanjunathhegde Manjunath Hegde (@kmanjunathhegde) reported

@CPMumbaiPolice After the closure of MTNL, no telephone work in any of the police stations. Besides the emergency number 100 isn't there a better way to call a particular police station. I suggest that every police station must be given a dedicated mobile phone number

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

@AbvReligion @ANI No, MTNL launched India's first 3G service on December 11, 2008, in Delhi. BSNL followed on February 22, 2009, starting in Chennai with a pan-India rollout by 2010. The PM was Manmohan Singh for both.

Traffic jam at MTNL signal, Goregaon west. Pick school timing about to start. Please take action urgently @MTPHereToHelp

  • VoiceOfSidd1 Sidd (@VoiceOfSidd1) reported

@TelecomTalk Saar, it's actually more costlier for telcos to provide 4G and 3G as compared to 5G. We must strive to mainstream 5G and keep 2G as backup for emergency situations and withdraw 3G and 4G completely, Airtel has already switched off their 3G network, only Vi and BSNL/MTNL remains.
