@DoctorBirdy @nsitharaman @TheOfficialSBI All these govt organisations are most lazy, loss making with zero customer service. Today I received a call from MTNL for outstanding bill of Rs 4600 in 2005 -2006.i don't have landlines for last 4 years. they wake up now and expect to pay . Told them not going to pay.

👉This was when I opted to port in MTNL network way back in 2016 👉Plan was probably unlimited Rs 899 👉Disconnected on basis of unbilled usage 👉Paid Rs 5000 but service wasn’t restored - Ported Out - Port request sanctioned without a call to consumer #BSNLMTNLMerger

Again my complain doc no. 3974 closed without fixing it. Almost all my previous various complaints raised also closed same way without fixing it. Really pathetic service from MTNL..they just want to raise monthly bill and extort money from customers without giving any service.

If there is no action taken on such parking on both side of bridge, let Pvt cars also park there . We take 30 min to exit #BKC MTNL. Same shit for Pvt buses parked within BKC roads. @RidlrMUM @mtptraffic @MumbaiPolice

@rsprasad ji not using our office landline/broadband service mumbai MTNL due to lockdown since 24th March. Our office is closed but receiving & paying bills regularly. MTNL replied that they have no instructions for any relief in lockdown period, hope for relief from your side.

@REDBOXINDIA ✅ What’s the actual situation Government financial support to BSNL (and MTNL indirectly) — The *Union Cabinet has already approved an additional ₹6,000 crore funding package specifically for BSNL’s 4G expansion, which also benefits MTNL’s operations in Delhi and Mumbai. This is part of a broader revival effort where billions have been invested in BSNL/MTNL over recent years to modernise networks and improve competitiveness. The Economic Times+1 Government is not planning to privatise BSNL or MTNL — Instead, Parliament was informed that privatisation is not on the table and that the government intends to continue revival support through packages like the 4G funding and other policy measures. ET Now Swadesh Operational integration happening — Although MTNL is technically a separate company, its operations (especially mobile network in Delhi/Mumbai) are now managed by BSNL, and the revival strategy focuses on financial stability, debt reduction and asset utilisation, not outright independent revival of MTNL.
