Local cable network fiber internet is much more efficient in MMRDA area than these 2 companies & cheaper too.

MTNL and BSNL had a head start of decades, infrastructure across the entire country, and zero debt initially. Jio launched in 2016. BSNL was already struggling long before that. The real killers were delayed decisions (4G came years late), bureaucratic deadweight, and a workforce that grew without accountability.

I have to go to the Ghatkopar MTNL office just to get an otp. Had to switch to Jio unfortunately. And have an SIP of 350-500 every month now in Jio.

They seem to either pass their time/service with less work load and behave like kings with zero accountability. Is DOT considered a less important deptt?
