You can visit the nearest MTNL office with a valid ID proof and UPC code (for porting) to get a new SIM or complete the port-in process. JustChill (@whatsuppfolks) reported@my_musings_ind Waiting for 6 months.? 6 months is too short We patiently waited for our MTNL connection for 2 years after submitting all required documents. Still did not get the landline. We only got a transfer & left the place.! Never got that connection

Vivek Shah (CA, LLB) (@cavivekshah) reported@BabbleBauble @yatinmota Many years ago I tried MTNL Dolphin mobile network (in Mumbai), immediately once the validity was over, I did not continue. If I’m correct, there were 7-8 operators at that time. Coming to MTNL landline now, I raised a complaint 5-6 years ago (or maybe longer) for disturbance in the connection. At that time Reliance Jio had just launched their free broadband and landline service. It was free for almost 2 years. Till date MTNL engineer has not visited. Eventually I stopped using that. Not sure if it was a coordinated fault in the telephone line.
