  True. So True. I remember when my father died in 88, I was barely a teen. We had two LAN lines. I was trying to get one transferred from Delhi home. I was young and naive. MTNL guy was corrupted and I had no help from family. He took our one line to transfer the other one. India has come a long way looking at those days.

Check availability on their sites. Starlink wait continues till mid-2026.

  The condition of state departments is deplorable, most MTNL numbers operated by state govts are not in service anymore, the websites are not updated with the correct numbers either, there’s no way to reach them. One example is the labour dept of haryana, phone number 0124-2301138

  @raw_satire @InsightGL Disagree. There are many areas where private sector is welcome but not when strategic PSU's are killed to give this excuse for opening the sector to private players. Jio was built on MTNL's towers . OFB Kanpur will slowly look like the poor cousin of Adani Aerospace next door..

  @tata_neu I have tried to cancel an air tkt. Phone. Talked to customer care. 2 or 3 numbers. Your app booked 2 Tickets for me. Confirmed. The app is like Mtnl . In 79 . Jamshedji. And Tata , surely are turning in their graves. Pls. cancel 1 tkt. The earlier departure
