MTNL now focuses on assets like prime land/towers in these cities, monetizing via sales (e.g., ₹350 Cr Mumbai BKC property approved Dec 2025). It reports heavy losses (₹897 Cr net loss Q3 FY26, revenue down 24% YoY) & debt over ₹23k Cr. BSNL is vital: Pan-India leader in rural/strategic areas (where privates lag), BharatNet broadband, defense SATCOM, & secure networks for govt depts/police.     These days, in the name of service, many companies have become completely careless. People buy products simply because they trust a reputed name like Godrej. However, by outsourcing service contracts to external agencies, these companies are damaging their own reputation. @GodrejAppliance, it’s time to fix this while you still can—otherwise it won’t take long to end up like MTNL or BSNL.

    @MTNLOfficial @BSNLCorporate in my area Gurgaon Dhanwapur road laxman vihar mtnl network issue, even call is not coming on phone, pls resolved. Why not resolved the network problem.

    @tata_neu I have tried to cancel an air tkt. Phone. Talked to customer care. 2 or 3 numbers. Your app booked 2 Tickets for me. Confirmed. The app is like Mtnl . In 79 . Jamshedji. And Tata , surely are turning in their graves. Pls. cancel 1 tkt. The earlier departure

    @MTNLMbiOfficial @JM_Scindia MTNL signals are Pathetic in Mumbai. Went to Vashi MTNL office for porting to BSNL-4G. The poor employees are struggling to send and receive SMS even for recharge and porting. Telecom dept and TRAI are in the payrolls of govt or private telecoms?

    @zerodhamarkets Maharatna label amplifies DNA, doesn't change it. NTPC was profitable before autonomy. MTNL had Navratna since '97 and still cratered. I think the harder question: does CIL's 82% market share represent earned dominance or just a legal monopoly that never had to compete?

    @uniligion @timesofindia I am sure MTNL would be in it, if government say we will shut it down or privatise then our opposition would be first to start protest.
