@ShereenBhan @CNBCTV18Live Well! we ran MTNL to ground and have BSNL also and if govt stake is bad otherwise, how can it be goodie this case? Will govt fund capex and / or give free hand to other partners ? Our love for good quality stuff is increasing only, with each passing day .

@narendramodi Sir,MTNL Mumbai service is hopeless with very high plan charges. Please rationalise the chgs otherwise long standing customers like me will also leave for private players! also not able to recharge i.e. failures with five payment debits! Your kind help required 🙏

@ifollow_Che @Cryptic_Miind My blind guess- Jio needs 5g tower and BSNL and MTNL has only 4g which are already used by Jio now govt can't upgrade this as they showed loss in them also people may question why 5g tower when your service is limited to 3g for cust. so getting new setup to overlook everything.

@centerofright BSNL MTNL have a robust wired line infra while Vi has a decent wireless network wherein they can complement each other and create a behemoth like China Telecom.. personally don't want a merger but would want someone like Tata Tele or Orange Telekom or AT&T pick up the GoI stake.
