@here_4_d_vibe This is the problem with your generation. You have no idea about life in India just 20 years back. I applied for a land line in. Delhi in -997 and got the connection in 2000 that too after we found a relative working in MTNL

@somnath1978 Well, it won't be much of a difference compared to the existing bridge where people already do walk from Atlas to MTNL junction. And TBH, the stink is generally not that bad until the waters get very low..

@dumbbbhakths @minicnair Gov companies never perform sir. Check mtnl, bsnl, discoms, rinl , ongc etc Many are there who underperform their capacity and don't upgrade So there is need to privatize. And nt just ambani or adani take the work. You can also get orders.

@MumbaiPolice does anyone pick up 100 emergency number? Have been trying for 2 data but no response. Wanted to complain regarding noisy firecrackers being used till 3 am in the morning yesterday and tonight too inside mehra compound (Sakinaka near mtnl) and in surrounding areas.

Just noted. I am in Mumbai. No service in BSNL! One month back also I came , same story! Having recharged roaming MTNL plan also. Still no service!! @Officejmscindia pls look into this. New 4G sim installed long back .

@TelecomTalk No they can't, as they can't delivery service after the contract is sign between mtnl and bsnl for approx a year what they will delivery now. They are way behind of technology, now others are working on 6g bsnl is still struggling for 4g service pan India.

@piyushvanraj @Santosh91647389 @RoshanKrRaii As of 2025, BSNL showed profits in Q3/Q4 FY25 (₹262cr/₹280cr) but a narrowed loss of ₹1,049cr in Q1 FY26; revenue up 14.5% YoY to ₹5,026cr via 4G push. Air India (privatized) reported FY25 losses of ~₹9,568-10,859cr across sources, with revenue rising 15% to ~₹78,636cr. MTNL posted Q1 FY26 loss of ₹943cr, revenue down 45.8% YoY to ₹207cr, with high debt. Overall, India's loss-making PSUs now account for just 1% of total PSU profits, down from 45% in FY18.
