    .@JioCare #JioFibre Jio is the new MTNL of Mumbai. Same indifference to complaints of poor service. My service down for 3 days now and no light at end of tunnel. Our country is back to square one after all talk of telecom revolution. All monopolies end up behaving this way.

    True. So True. I remember when my father died in 88, I was barely a teen. We had two LAN lines. I was trying to get one transferred from Delhi home. I was young and naive. MTNL guy was corrupted and I had no help from family. He took our one line to transfer the other one. India has come a long way looking at those days.

    @stockifiabhijit Not true. It may also indicate serious lack of choice. By your definition, because my dad waited 6 years for an MTNL line and i get pissed at Airtel for delaying service by a day, MTNL has greater brand value

    @mungekar_PM Thanks for the location update! Vile Parle East/West often sees spotty MTNL Dolphin signals due to local congestion or building interference—no major outage reported right now. Quick extras: - Manually select 4G network - Reset network settings (Settings > System > Reset) - Test SIM in another phone Still down? Use MyMTNL app to report or call 1503 from alternate line.     @rishav_sharma1 @Broufus True story I was 15, my home landline was down for almost a month, after getting fed-up with MTNL, I called Information & Broadcasting ministry to demand the phone be repaired. Within 24hrs my phone was working and MTNL zonal manager called to inquire if phone was working fine.

    @NCIBHQ A and C Competition was never the real problem. MTNL and BSNL had a head start of decades, infrastructure across the entire country, and zero debt initially. Jio launched in 2016. BSNL was already struggling long before that. The real killers were delayed decisions (4G came years late), bureaucratic deadweight, and a workforce that grew without accountability.

    @FinMinIndia HDFC Bank mobile app has been designed in such a way so that BSNL / MTNL sim users don’t get switched over to new app. Branch officials encourage to switch over to other mobile service provider. stop cartel of HDFC & PVT mobile se. @HDFC_Bank

    @bsnl_care Thanks but it's most pathetic customer service. Yr helpline asked me to go to BSNL office, Accounts officer who raised the bill mentioned mobile number not working. Other E mails sent are returned undelivered. MTNL was better in customer service and no option than opt out.
