Today I received a call from MTNL for outstanding bill of Rs 4600 in 2005 -2006.i don't have landlines for last 4 years. they wake up now and expect to pay . Told them not going to pay.

Currently, around 4–5 months of rent is still pending, and despite multiple complaints, there has been no resolution. Every time I follow up, I am given verbal assurances like “payment will be done this month or next month,” but nothing actually happens. This kind of negligence is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. MTNL and BSNL had a head start of decades, infrastructure across the entire country, and zero debt initially. Jio launched in 2016. BSNL was already struggling long before that. The real killers were delayed decisions (4G came years late), bureaucratic deadweight, and a workforce that grew without accountability.
