Really pathetic service from MTNL..they just want to raise monthly bill and extort money from customers without giving any service.

It couldn’t put funds into a special escrow account for the next interest payment on its bonds due to not having enough cash. We had applied for an MTNL connection in 2003. They flat out refused for some frivolous reason. Got Tata instead. Never looked back.
