  @AbtNature @sjain_21 @karksarss Madam bsnl, mtnl, doordarshan all are govt run institutions, Airindia also was, had they shown any competency, very poor service is provided to customers even in sbi too, private banks provide better service and are growing. From Jan 1, 2025, BSNL runs all MTNL telecom ops (fixed-line, broadband, mobile) in Delhi/Mumbai under a 10-year EBITDA-neutral agreement—handling maintenance, capex, services. MTNL retains its legal entity solely for asset monetization (prime land, towers, e.g., BKC sale) to service debts. MTNL staff bridge both during transition, creating overlap and unclear reporting until DoT finalizes absorption/redeployment. HR issues (promotions, benefits) pending; unions pushing for options like BSNL integration or DoT return. Direction should improve post-resolution.
