In this case they mange’s to choke BSNL and MTNL to monopolising and fix arbitrary tariffs between airtel/ jio and Vodafone. Do u hv choice?

Samir Arora (@Iamsamirarora) reportedOne of the biggest reforms was that govt got out of infra- otherwise we had companies like doordarshan and mtnl and BSNL and old psu banks etc. If u think govt is a better implementer of projects u are getting carried away with finding new issues which have been long settled. u can compare our private infrastructure with wherever in the same country we have govt built or owned infrastructure.

There is no network of MTNL in our area since 2 yrs.Employees in MTNL knows about it but they are not interested. Since thee is no network e can't port our no to other service provider. Early 80s I used to send Telegrams from here to my parents. Climbing up those circular stairs made me emotional.Lots of history embedded in those spiralling stairs ! Preserve.

I was young and naive. MTNL guy was corrupted and I had no help from family. He took our one line to transfer the other one. India has come a long way looking at those days.
