There are many areas where private sector is welcome but not when strategic PSU's are killed to give this excuse for opening the sector to private players. Jio was built on MTNL's towers . There is no network of MTNL in our area since 2 yrs.Employees in MTNL knows about it but they are not interested. Since thee is no network e can't port our no to other service provider.
