That's really the only explanation I can think of, and it fits with what I've learned about how terrible IT at Paypal is. It looks like they *had* all of my information, then made some significant change and lost it, so rather than just accept it, they're making me upload again.

@IKEAUKSupport Paypal refunded me, it’s was an autocorrect for email not eBay. Sadly I’m through with IKEA it’s turned into a circus and I will be returning my hundreds of pounds worth of items in the garage as soon stores reopen. Not your problem so thanks for being the 1st to respond.

I've been trying to shut down a Paypal account that is ancient. It's so old it still has a bank from before the 2008 collapse which died and doesn't exist anymore. I've tried everything to remove it and the saga is hilarious:

@dawnlopresti @PayPal Exactly. I get covid and all, but sure feels like @PayPal is using the pandemic as a shield for it's horrible customer service and growing issues. For potential hack issues, that should get answered by a human. not on friggin twitter.

Beware of scam emails! I received a "PayPal" email this morning. Claimed that there was "suspicious activity" at 3:30 pm today. Told me to "click here" to fix my account. Um, nope! Be careful, and always log in to your account using a different browser to make sure things are ok.

I actually did all this years ago, clearly. I mean, it has all of my verified information. It was broken when I got in there, and I use the account maybe 1 time a year to test something. That means, wait for it, the Paypal programmers screwed up the ID storage. What?

@click_and_drop I am having terrible issues today when I get to the payment page. It came up with a range of issues every time is was different and now it doesn't want to use my paypal card because its had too many failed payments. Please I have over 200 parcels.

A problem w/ wealth managers at BofA etc. Portfolios are overly diversified. Yes, you might own @PayPal or @Apple, but your exposure is small. High moves in one name, won't significantly change the portfolio. They also don't support assets like Bitcoin. I struggle with this.
