@CyberSnark Someone once hacked my login on a game website I only registered on to buy a cheap game with once and then used my PayPal to buy a few $500 PlayStation game codes to resell as they can't be cancelled or traced, PayPal eventually refunded me the lost money 💰

I want more shops to offer paydirekt/giropay (Germany) payment methods over PayPal. PayPal is becoming such a pain to use. Today I needed to login 3 times and complete 2 captchas to send a payment and like last week it just told me "you must change your password"

@Telstra No, they all work perfectly - including buying things with Paypal. I gave up and - after a few tries and fails to get back to the right page - paid by card. I did not want to do this. Seriously, Telstra's is the ONLY retail site I ever have problems with.

@joshgiesbrecht @kcimc my issue with these discussions is it perpetuates the binary thinking of “blockchain bad, PayPal good”—yet an OSS distributed ledger for p2p payments is a valuable idea, and would likely be in alignment with much of the KS/patreon-only crowd if it was simply not called “crypto”
