Another reason why living in Thailand is just a nuisance - PayPal is no longer available for freelancers. You have to have a business a government-issued ID (meaning you have to be Thai I am assuming). That is seriously a lot of opportunities down the drain. FTS!

I don’t know if your old enough to remember since most Elon cucks tend to be under 15, but when PayPal was in its early stages it would shut down accounts with small balances and pocket the money since they would be too poor to take legal action

Planet 7 is very slow to pay out when you win. PAYPAL is hard to get along with. Norton tried to go into my computer and take my money. Tried to bill me. McAfee tried to go into my computer and take my money. Tried to bill me. Kreative did not provide the service I wanted.

So, ah, now Paypal is posting every transaction to my bank with my deadname. Googling suggests the only way to fix this is entirely deleting my account and starting over. Which, uh, ugh but okay, but still curious why it started doing it THIS WEEK. There wasn't a name before!

@PixelRep @AONmodding @LewdPixels Oh. I was under the impression that Nopy shut down as result of no longer being able to receive funding from supporters due to payment processors (paypal, payoneer, etc.) cutting them off. I assumed that was NSFW stuff being hosted was the cause. My bad.

@Sombraficionado To lower the chance getting in trouble for NSFW, it would be better if you send your clients an invoice. That way, all they need to do is send the payment. No mentioning of NSFW. The only drawback is you needing to create a PayPal business account to send invoices.

@nightsect Did you pay through PayPal? You can file a claim and they will contact the person. They then have a set amount of time to respond & if they don’t PayPal issues you a refund (this is from personal experience) I get so scared paying for an online service bc of this. Good luck!

accidentally got double charged for my nespresso order. called them to cancel. they claimed it was done an hour apart when i clearly have paypal receipts 1 min apart cause it said error 404 so i thought it didn’t go through and had to resubmit. said they’d try to cancel.

Part of my dentist issue is like, I HAD a lot of cash in my paypal and if I got a bit more id hit half my goal.. but then id have all the usual charges hit my bank account rather than paypal. Plus, got PAypal Credit to pay off.
