It would have been a big burden for it to take on, but it wouldn’t have been wrong if that’s part of its mission. Misinformation is a huge problem in our society. Many corporations are fighting it, as they should.

my friend was VERY accommodating on the lack of updates due to the presumption of health issues, and frankly she's more upset at the behavior than the money at this point, but if you have gotten a comm from them, please consider reaching out to paypal.

Also keep in mind that Venmo is owned by PayPal, and they have identical policies for the $2,500 fine. (Venmo just links to PayPal's policy for their own rules) To delete your Venmo account, go to Settings > Profile, then scroll down and hit "Close Venmo Account"

Sadly, donations made directly through the Streamlabs link are being refunded. A few people have reached out as they are seeing it come back to their accounts. I am so terribly sorry but the charity sadly hasn’t fixed the issue on their side with PayPal.

Incredibly bummed out. Looks like the Streamlabs Charity setup for my 1 anniversary stream fundraiser had some issues. The charity never properly linked their PayPal and I’ve been actively trying to work with both the charity and Streamlabs to resolve it.

@codeofvets @hankwood99 I don't agree with those who won't use PayPal to donate to your cause. But you CAN use other sources to collect the money, then use PayPal to send it. It opens you up to using all sorts of sources for donations, so if one ever shuts you down, you have many others.
