@Fan_Of_Ur_Art The issue is that Art Block cant be controlled and can happen for many different reasons. I can just recommend demanding a refund in the time as long the PayPal buyer protection is active. Which is around 3 Months.

@mattletiss7 @PayPal If I ever start a company, I too shall have a “no conspiracy theorists, no misinformation spreaders” clause in my terms of service. And a “no *********” clause so you don’t have to go to the trouble of looking up what the other clause means.

@watspoons @stef_benson @TheRealJackDee Where freedom of expression is protected in law, it has limitations. Always has had. However, PayPal is a private company with T&Cs. In the same way, a shop can ban you if you misbehave, so can PayPal. Toby Young has broken T&Cs. Got banned.

@mrjamesob Obviously not. PayPal, as a financial services institution has to adhere to the financial regulators, which in this country is the FCA. Closing down an account because you disagree with their opinion doesn't exactly meet their "Treating Customers Fairly" mandate

@FreddySky @TheRealJackDee Actually you have just illustrated why Jack's point is so important, relevant and on topic. Many online sites today only operate via PayPal, yet PayPal can shut you down for whatever reason and you cannot do anything about it.

Paypal offers a service, customers have to agree to a set of T&Cs. Which must be legal, they can't just make them up. He is simply being refused service. He can appeal.
