@Texasiswhereil1 @PeteTheBladeGuy @kimKBaltimore "error"....do you actually believe that? Companies the size of Paypal don't write up a new user agreement and publish it without first going through hundreds of reviews and edits. It was an intentional publication and they realized they messed up.

Huge corporations don't cross a t or dot an i that's not scrutinized by legal, but PayPal's claiming it was an innocent mistake while trying to push the event down the memory hole.

@AskPayPal I’ve been trying to close my account for a few weeks. Yet I’m still unable to do so. I need this account to be closed ASAP. I’ve done whatever was suggested a few weeks ago. I’m still getting an error msg stating that the account cannot be closed.

@dddd87659459 @Martinsohaks @Nostre_damus That’s always been an issue, it’s a security issue going back as long as I can remember PayPal existing. You have to delete your data, cards etc before closing an account or they will just not let you reopen using the same card etc, saves alot of scammers etc doing it

@NatetheLawyer People are saying "this has been corrected." No - this was walked back. Sort of. But PayPal Is desperate. $114 BILLION in stock cap lost since Jan or over 50%. They are looking for a "new" way to offset that and other issues.
