@9piecesof8 Be careful, it's a common scam to pay for something, then once it's successfully delivered, they issue a charge-back with their bank and claim it never arrived. If you're using PayPal, PayPal will take the money out of your account.

@LisaSky_Art @verge Yep you can buy with PayPal no problem but all sales used to go through it on the sellers end. Now it’s all internally through eBay which sucks for us sellers

@kiyuubuns Had to learn the hard way, that paypal sucks and also that their customer support only works if you go to the public with your issue... (Also if you use them for your business, they have a ton of fees...) I generally recommend to not use paypal, even though it is convenient :/

@astros_are @CardPurchaser It’s not safe or secure. Plenty of people get scammed. You can make it safer and more secure, but it’s really not. Even sending G&S via PayPal has issues and can be schemed.

@elikisnowkitten Been getting a lot of PayPal and Amazon scammers of late. You know, the "your account has been frozen" or receipts for payments for items I've never bought type of crap. I know they're not legit, though - each has four or five separate issues with them!

@AskPayPal Got past rate limit by switching network but now Your payment was successful. There was an issue displaying the invoice status as 'paid'. We will update the status soon.

@bobano I can’t stress enough how awesome @BetRivers has been to me. I get a $500 deposit bonus twice a month like clockwork. Good rewards system to buy “free bets” with store points. Plus overall great customer service when bank or PayPal issues come up.

So despite informing @PayPal with proof that a company is refunding money back to my PayPal account within a week I've had a call at 8am every day since asking me to sort my balance out. This wouldn't have even been an issue if they hadn't decided to pay nearly £4k (1/2)

The problem is with the authentication from your bank. The payments for subscriptions go through Stripe, as opposed to regular Bandcamp payments that go through Paypal. Some banks' authentication process sees Stripe as a scam (it isn't) so it blocks the payment.

@internetangelll Please don't do that! You can get both yours and the seller's acc in trouble. You're also losing your protection in case you need a refund. The fees are way lower with that method for a reason, and paypal doesn't like being robbed
