Only real solution is a Paypal like escrow that holds funds for a certain period. Even then I'm assuming most sellers can be convinced to do an offline transaction to save on fees and eventually be duped.

I am waiting since Tuesday to transfer UPI Lite from Android to iPhone. I was not able to disable on Android device as I shifted to eSIM.
