The default preference issue and routing failure happened within the app integration. Furthermore, to avoid any further confusion, I have already removed all bank accounts from WhatsApp Pay.

I was just checking train ticket on paytm app and it asked me to login to IRCTC, which I didn't but my account was debited without login & UPI PIN @Paytmcare
