    How @Paytm manipulate customer @Paytmcare A thread 1/4 I am a very old customer of Paytm and have been using its Soundbox service for a long time. Initially, my plan was ₹49 per month, but it was later increased to ₹99 without my knowledge.

    Despite multiple DMs, emails, and complaints since July 23, @Paytm still hasn’t resolved my fraudulent Soundbox issue. I was promised lifetime free service by their agent in 2022. Now I’m being harassed for ₹1998 for a device I never used after fraud! #ConsumerRights #PaytmFraud

    @vijayshekhar Sir you have been an inspiration to me for more than a decade. But you need to admit there's a huge problem with ur ****. Paytm Business app and services suck big time. How do u expect to compete with Gpay & Phonepe? Have caused great stress to me @Paytmcare @Paytm

    4/ Now if that used box goes faulty this month itself, I still have to pay ₹99 again? How’s that fair? @Paytm @Paytmcare @PaytmBusiness 5/ This is not an upgrade. This feels like milking the customer for basic service. We trusted Paytm for ease. Not this recurring chaos.

    @Paytmcare To all small business owners: Do NOT use @PaytmBusiness. They offer zero support, hide behind "confidentiality," and leave issues unresolved for weeks. Re-KYC doesn’t work, escalations go nowhere, and you’re left helpless. I’ve closed my business with them. You should too.

    Since then, I’ve been fighting to get it deactivated. Now in 2025, @Paytm is asking me to pay ₹1998 as “penalty” — for a device I never used and don’t even have! I’ve shared screenshots, call recordings, and registered multiple complaints via app, DM, and NCH. No help. 👇

    @Paytmcare @Paytm Biggest fraud I've ever noticed 1) No way to talk to customer care, it routes to Paytm App Help 2) Paytm App help section has predicided menu, no way to raise a ticket. It is as if, they are help us as per their own wise. This company was Golden Goose once.

    @Paytm @Paytmcare I bought a Paytm Soundbox for my shop last year & asked your agent to deactivate it. He took it, but it’s still active & charging me for no reason! Customer care didn’t help. Many merchants face this issue. Stop this fraud, deactivate my soundbox

    @Paytm @vijayshekhar I am unable to create a new account on Paytm.I am getting an error message that says to try again after 30 days due to multiple attempts.When I asked Paytm for help, they completely refused to assist me. I did not expect this kind of behavior from Paytm.
