    Serious question.. is Tidal any good? Is it smooth when using an app on android and computer? I'm looking into alternatives in case Spotify never recovers and don't wanna stick to AM forever and I want a proper music streaming service just in case. Currently looking at YTM too.

    @Ste_gOsH930 i think songs we're just banned but wasn't totally deleted from spotify since the only issue with the licensing with the distributor

    My plan to drift off to a podcast is not working. I ended up covering the first 500 years of the history of Rome last night listening to 15 episodes of a dryish but fascinating History of Rome by Mike Duncan on Spotify. Tonight, Hannibal's just turned up.

    from Spotify. Anywhoo, this is what I already thought: the issue with digital is, if a platform wants to take it away that music and you don't back it up, you do lose everything. It sucks, especially when you throw so much money on these platforms for subscriptions, etc. /2

    have any other streaming services been known to have issues like Spotify? is there any I should avoid? looking at options and would love opinions on various services so I can make a choice. I am in AUS so any services that I can use here would be great!

    @LittleBigToof Hmm. We're not paying to have the RSS feed hosted anymore so that might be the problem. However I just checked and you can still access the episodes on Spotify. We also have a subset posted on YouTube.

    & finally @SpotifyCares i've used multiple other streaming services for a time but only stayed because of the playlists i've made. fact is, i fully intend on moving on to a streaming service that doesn't eat all of my RAM & actually pays artists. perhaps @TIDAL would work?

    .@SpotifyCares for years, i've been dealing with your desktop app being horrendously slapped together.artists take 10 minutes to load, songs will play,start & skip at random,& trying to traverse the app is a nightmare. your browser service loads faster but lacks functionality 1/3

    @jopiazza Loving Under the Influence! But I can’t listen to the latest episode. Have tried on Spotify where it sounds like it’s on .25 speed and on Overcast where it glitches out after the first ad. Not sure if anyone else is having this issue! Am tuning in from Japan.

    I don't pay for Spotify, I sit through the damn ads cause I don't use the site enough. I don't care for it, I only use it for songs I can't access on iTunes or don't want to own on CD. But many people do, and it sucks you guys are now paying for a service that no longer offers /3

    I'm late to the K-pop no longer on Spotify thing, but I honestly have talked about this kinda thing enough on the Roundtable podcast regarding general digital vs physical stuff, and annoyingly we may talk about this issue again cause of the recent K-pop songs being pulled /1

    wow amazing now all the missing songs on spotify are just blank spaces instead of greyed out :( **** i knew i should have copied down all my playlists yesterday, now i wont be able to remember what half these songs are

    @MarioGuzman The Airbnb and Spotify ones are so ugly that it makes me think their service has to be bad if they are going with something that bad.

    @SpotifyCares I mostly use the desktop app, and this has been happening for over a year. The app and device are both regularly shut down and restarted, and I've also done a fresh install recently for other reasons.

    Using apple music for my daily #RunOn ost and damnnnnn it's draining le battery (+makan kuota bgt aishhh), Spotify x KakaoM better solve their problem fasterrrrrr.

    @TimJDillon @benaveryisgood yo a lot of episodes are missing from @Spotify it has 195 and 207-241 for me right now. I had earlier eps in my downloads and they're gone now. Could just be Spotify trying to upgrade their service but please check!

    @MerylSKavanagh I've noticed this problem is largely because everyone uses spotify and spotify makes it impossible to search albums from artists in your library by year, so if you miss out on something from more than a week ago, you have to go manually through every artist to find it.

    (cont.) the music you enjoy and love. I have had iTunes delete some stuff I paid for, and it pissed me off a lot, so I do get it. When you pay for a service, they should deliver and not take what you have purchases. Sadly, this is beyond Spotify's control (maybe. I dunno) /4

    yesterday i was trying to fall asleep and i was playing car seat headrest on shuffle but spotify played can’t cool me down like at least 3 times in a row but i didn’t notice bc i was half asleep and it made me think i had no concept of time i was in car seat headrest hell
