I don't know the right word to use to describe the sound of the 90s playlists I was listening to on Spotify but every song sounded . . . thin, as in lacking audio depth and kind of tinny. I thought my headphones were broken but no, apparently that's just how 90s music sounds.

Spotify also has a terrible shuffle, if you just shuffle on playlists with more than 200 songs it will not play several songs and stay on a loop. The play album by standard lands on shuffle. The suggestions could use much more crowd intelligence.

@muffy1421 Hello, is your default music service that you’ve got linked to Spotify? Have you tried costing directly from the music providers app to the Google home mini? I always try and cast unless I haven’t got my phone with me. This would work normally if it comes up.

Trust is a very shaky thing. I trusted Apple to deliver a good music streaming service when I made the switch from Spotify to Apple Music. And lately, I find that certain albums that I always streamed is gone.

@oliviamdh After trying a bunch, I eventually just decided to roll with Spotify because A) they made some upgrades so it’s less clunky than it used to be and B) I’m already paying for it for music...may as well double down for podcasts.

@SpotifyCares I think it’s an authentication or network issue inside your app, where for some reason the websocket connection or authentication fails and the API cannot be reached, and when you tap on the song, the error isn’t handled.

@SpotifyCares The version is 8.6.14.975 I updated it last week and it's showing offline all the time and I'm not even on the offline mode. it's fulllll of bugs I've tried everything but it just won't get back to normal. help! (btw no problem with my internet connection)
