Man, @spotify sucks! I canceled my premium membership today. I’m on the road for work a lot and I enjoy @joerogan’s podcast. Everywhere I go, I’ve streamed his podcast just fine on @youtube. I can NOT get the video to stream on Spotify. Their video streaming is ******* TERRIBLE!

Not a soul would give a damn about the low streaming rate if it led to a full sharing of listener data, including the ability to reach those listeners with messages. But Spotify is holding on to that, reducing the free data, and wants to charge. THAT's the real streaming problem

"my Spotify Wrapped" is actually just a statistical error. 2020, which saw me living in a cave & streaming anything that made me feel alive, is an outlier and should not have been counted.

@LukefonAsch Bandcamp is a service where you can buy an album directly instead of paying for a monthly service and the money goes mostly to the artist. Better than spotify when it comes to supporting artists, especially small ones I mostly follow independent artists there

@SpotifyCares I am only using the free Spotify plan was only expecting an AI support with help links etc. Instead I was treated with a prompt and personalized support, and resolved the problem I had experienced with Spotify program.
