@mingismingki i haven't downloaded songs for some time now bc i've been using spotify but i think they will resolve the issue somehow... melon is kr only and removing the songs for both korean and global audience creates huge disparity... agencies can't be chill with this outcome

The best thing to do... is prob not use kakao m LOL. Cuz if their "marketing" tactic doesnt work then maybe they'll change it. Taking the songs off spotify is a lose-lose for artists & listeners. So lets not let the greedy company win by actually using their service. They take

@TasneemReads Kakao M is beefing with Spotify over who should stream the songs in Korea so Spotify took down all the songs internationally as well 🥲 Soooo many artists are affected by this and it’s pretty clear they had no idea this was gonna happen over night

@seafoamstcrs @juye8ns Basically I think the time line is: Spotify Korea launches -> Kakao M takes their music off the Korean version of the service -> Spotify takes Kakao M’s music off all of their services (since this hurts Kakao M much more)
