@Spotify @BarackObama @springsteen We demand that Spotify and Kakao fix this issue. Us international fans have no way to support our favorite artists. The smaller companies and groups are suffering due to you. Just because you want to make more income, you are making us suffer instead. Kpop is global.

@intojessi lol it not spotify wrong .. u need ask korea service why they remove their artist

  • littlesylveon rachel (@littlesylveon) reported

@OnyxAestheticsv korea has a popular streaming service called Melon, and when spotify was released in Korea, Kakao M (company that owns melon) didn't want to lose traffic/streams to spotify, so they took off all the songs that spotify got through them, which was ~250 artists discographies.

  • camsdrc Khrys (@camsdrc) reported

this whole spotify and kakao m issue is frustrating, ang daming nabawas sa playlist ko 😭

  • space__kidult Bright After Rain ☾*‧₊ (@space__kidult) reported

@Spotify I'm sorry. I genuinely enjoy and appreciate your service. But with most of my playlists deleted now, I can't justify continuing to pay for premium. I will temporarily be dropping your service until I can afford to pay for multiple music platforms again. 😔

  • aratsif13 ᴮᴱNamuJoon⁷ | Fan of History's Maker (@aratsif13) reported

@cypherscout @BTS_twt Why they protest to spotify? Isn't it kakao m problem who not allowing those song on spotify?

  • ditzyloves7s4s Ditzy🐰🔗 (@ditzyloves7s4s) reported

Serious question and I hope I 'd be give legit responses. Worst case scenario if the issue with Kakao M and Spotify won't be resolved, how do we send a petition to the Seven's (Gyeomie, Twae, and Seunie) new labels to get them on Spotify?

  • chaerimae big4 weibo nightˣ (@chaerimae) reported

@TheUserLuvsZeus yes, they said korean market especially that melon has been taken down since spotify korea launched

  • kittyjaejae DIAN (@kittyjaejae) reported

@HaeyaSunshine It's not rly the music companies/artists' agencies but melon itself - it seems they don't want spotify korea competing with them that's why kakao m (who distribute a wide array of kartists music and owns melon) took down the songs they "own" from spotify so yes capitalism 😣
