  @gangsta_gyu @SE0KJOONZ spotify launched in korea and ran into some issues with kakaos music service apparently and to avoid any major issues spotify deleted the songs that were on kakao’s streaming app (maybe have gotten the company wrong but that’s the explanation i heard)

  I switched to Spotify because the sync between iTunes on the computer & phone is fundamentally broken and it was really easy to loose playlists (not music, just the lists). And iTunes keeps randomly assigning the wrong cover art to songs/albums which annoys me.

  @SakVIII APPARENTLY it’s because Kakao M holds like 2/3 of KPOP copyright and they have their own streaming service in SK called Melon. Spotify arrived in SK like last month and Kakao M/Melon felt threatened by them SO THEY JUST PULLED OVER HALF THE KPOP LIBRARY OFF SPOTIFY WORLDWIDE
