@PMRecordsUSA @getcerebral I’m not angry. Nothing in post showed anger at all. Stop using that as a way to try to silence me. White people do that **** all the time and it’s not happening here. And the problem 100% is Spotify. How is that the fans fault?

  • CavalliF19 fabrisio (@CavalliF19) reported

I’d have a Spotify wrapped to share but I quit using their service after a decade this summer because of their inexcusable compensation structure for musicians.

  • rockn_the TheRocknR (@rockn_the) reported

Hey @Spotify I don’t need SUPPORT. However YOU do need to SUPPORT the artists that you play on your service buy PAYING THEM ALL A HIGHER ROYALTY RATE. allow me to reiterate... HIGHER ROYALTIES FOR ARTISTS !& since this will likely “fall on deaf ears” FREE SERVICE For ARTISTS TOO!

  • Jamiedaughter Juke Lame-ieson (@Jamiedaughter) reported

@perilousphoto There's a bit more heat than usual, given he publicly was against Biden (but for Bernie), had Alex Jones on recently, and is getting the Spotify workforce so upset they're emailing the CEO. I think lots of people are waiting for heat to die down, which it will.

  • homunculette Cao Xueqin stan account (@homunculette) reported

Looking at my Spotify wrapped was a grim reminder that I have barely paid attention to new releases since tiny mix tapes shut down... RIP

  • _zetamorgan Zeta Morgan (@_zetamorgan) reported

the problem is when the my spotify wrapped playlist comes out, I end up just listening to that all year and then the next year it's the same songs as the last year, so the songs never change. Do you see my problem?

  • rockn_the TheRocknR (@rockn_the) reported

If @SpotifyCares REALLY CARED! THEY WOULD PAY THEIR ARTISTS A HIGHER ROYALTY RATE! And while you’re making changes... Offer free service to all ARTISTS too! So @SpotifyCares if you REALLY CARE THAN SHOW IT!

  • mershiee the virgin mary (@mershiee) reported

  • CroweAdrien Adrien 🎄 Crowe (@CroweAdrien) reported

@celizabeth02 @stwilcoxson2 Open Spotify go to home page boom you should see it there m! Maybe scroll down a bit

  • solidarityclub1 Solidarity Club Records (@solidarityclub1) reported

@PMRecordsUSA @getcerebral People can’t pay their rent and bands expect everyone to buy every single thing they listen to on Spotify. CAPITALISM IS THE PROBLEM. If you’re selling tons of records and still not getting by, that’s not the fans fault.

  • _AriesRea_ 🔞Ari~es 🔞 (@_AriesRea_) reported

Me: *feeling hella blue* Me:*open spotify and choose Penkin's music for calm down a bit* Spotify: *"Survive" starts to play* Me: I-- bro are you spyin' on me?

@Spotify Guys you need to slow down with the adds teally I see like 2 every 2 songs

  • gerg Greg Flanagan (@gerg) reported

Music streaming... Amazon's HD service is good. Tidal was fun. Spotify is a party. I have to admit I dig the biographic info apple music provides. I just wish they'd upgrade the sound quality.

  • Kiansjet Kian (@Kiansjet) reported

An issue I see with services like Spotify using ML based on what music someone has liked to suggest new music is that the model (I'm not sure if it works like this but I don't see how otherwise) assumes the user likes the WHOLE song, whereas they may like only a part

  • wearecasquad Chasing Apparitions (@wearecasquad) reported

@SOTSPodcast Spotify has paid me more than any other streaming service so...

  • _N1MM_ N‡MM (@_N1MM_) reported

@rrritualzzz More people might use it, but it could turn into another Spotify or SoundCloud, with people's terrible music jockeying for position and buying their way onto playlists and stuff. Bandcamp distances itself from that. They're like a record store where you have to dig, and it's WOM.

  • KaitoCat7 Paul Schroeder (@KaitoCat7) reported

I'd rather miss out on .001 cents or whatever, then use a service I know are exploiting others even if it doesn't impact me. A significantly less important reason is that, for the brief time I listened to music via Spotify, I had no disposable income, so I used the free version

  • thehoneygrl cort ✨ (@thehoneygrl) reported

Why my Spotify wrapped don’t tell me everything just my top songs ?!! My app broken 🤨

  • SlashedTires SLASHED TIRES (@SlashedTires) reported

@sad13 @SuperMagicHats I don’t think J. Cassar's is necessarily pro-Spotify. A concept to consider from the statement that started this, is that the Spotify issue seems similar to Napster issue from the 2000s.
