I can't stream JRE at work any more. Have been listening for years on YouTube no problems. Spotify is way to damn slow. Deep interwebs search confirms I am not the only one. There are at least two of us. @joerogan

Musicians have been hit super hard. Gigs cancelled. Side jobs at restaurants, retails, etc shut down. Your purchase of their sounds will buoy them more than you know. And far more than the $0.05 you may contribute through your Spotify listens.

@jmwall24 @BonksMullet and i fully acknowledge i am part of the problem. even some of the bands i consider my favourites i am not spending money on. i listen to tunes all day while working and take advantage of spotify's platform. i need to be a better consumer.

@jcrbcn Nobody forces any of the artist to publish music on any streaming service! Including myself. I choose to be on Spotify etc. And yeah might not be all that fair, but it’s still a choice and I am still happy with me, cuz it keeps a roof over my head.

@leeroyb @_jessghost Radio and streaming are different things. You're choosing to listen to something specific on Spotify. Granted there are curated playlists, so this isn't aways the case. I'm not saying there isn't overlap. The problem with your other point is that many people who *should*, don't.
