The algorithm @Spotify uses to sort its Home tab listings seems bizarre to me. You have a listing called “Recommended For Today” and it’s at the very bottom of the page. Same thing with new releases on a Friday, you have to scroll down to see new music! Crazy.

Does anyone else have issues with songs on Spotify simply not playing? Is it a regional/licensing thing? If so, why keep the songs listed or not have some notification? Or maybe it's just glitchy... Been happening a lot lately and it's frustrating as it breaks up autoplay.

@SpotifyCares OnePlus 5T running the latest Android (update was ~3 weeks ago); I'll try the logout, etc. In the meantime I discovered that disabling the Connect service on the phone resolves the issue (but that's a PITA).

@SpotifyCares Problems streaming music, problems accessing my Favorites, my saved music, I have not been able to listen to new music. Load time is horrible. I have to restart the app 3 times or so before I can get to my downloaded music, I can't open up radio. I had to switch to @youtubemusic

@sethmacy I tried the free trial of Apple Music and had similar issues. I have been a @Spotify premium subscriber for 8 years, worth every penny IMO.

"Why don't you use Apple Music or Spotify?" I like to actually have the files, so that I can listen to them offline, no paying for a premium service, and if there is a mistake in the titling (i.e. "Burn My Dread" being called "Burn My Bread" and that isn't a joke), I can fix it.
