@SmolSaltyBean @juye8ns I dont think spotify agreed to take them down. They stated that they've been trying tn renew the contract with kakao m but seems like they couldnt reach an agreement before the previous license expired

@peanutbtrwhope it's mostly kakao's fault bc they own melon (or the other way around) and they started losing profits when spotify became available in korea so they decided to just remove the songs they distributed from spotify to benefit melon 💀 the problem is melon is only available in korea

@ichigomochis Why are you inserting army on this...this is an issue between Kakao and Spotify. Does it suck? yes so many artist are affected by this. But why would army stop streaming on that platform if the music is there.

@souIbff i literally moved from years using apple music to spotify in august because i was so DONE with how slow the app is. songs take so much to load and the desktop service is ****** up too. Spotify offers so much more and is the best streaming service. im so sad and mad

More than half of my K-OSTs playlist were wiped out bc of this KakaoM x Spotify licensing issue. Huhu WENDY, Taeyeon, IU, Baekhyun, CHEN, CHEN, SUHO, and even BTOB, Mamamoo, etc 😭 It's time to utilize youtube music.
