Cheriachen Eapen (@Cheriachen2010) reported from Cherthala, Kerala@ViCustomerCare Thanks much for the update. Vi outage was not an individual issue, so DM is irrelevant. @TRAI plz make it mandatory for these service providers to publish down time in social media, their websites & apps. Like water and electricity telephone service is also an essential service.

Vidyut (@Vidyut) reportedUpdated gem from @ViCustomerCare Got a call asking if I wanted a new number or keep the same number after converting to postpaid. I said I don't want to convert to postpaid. I just need a new SIM. Guy says they can't do that. It can only be postpaid. I said I have paid for a plan until July 2027. Why would I want postpaid? So he told me to call 199. Already have. No way to talk to a human. He said he'll tell somebody to call me. Nobody did. So he can't help me, unless I want to waste my plan and pay for the more expensive postpaid. So basically, a prepaid card can't be replaced/upgraded to 5G in Vi? Giving it a couple of days before approaching a consumer court.
