I tried calling customer care, but the call bot does not help me connect with a human.

Vidyut (@Vidyut) reportedUpdated gem from @ViCustomerCare Got a call asking if I wanted a new number or keep the same number after converting to postpaid. I said I don't want to convert to postpaid. I just need a new SIM. Guy says they can't do that. It can only be postpaid. I said I have paid for a plan until July 2027. Why would I want postpaid? So he told me to call 199. Already have. No way to talk to a human. He said he'll tell somebody to call me. Nobody did. So he can't help me, unless I want to waste my plan and pay for the more expensive postpaid. So basically, a prepaid card can't be replaced/upgraded to 5G in Vi? Giving it a couple of days before approaching a consumer court.

Thanasekar K (@thanasekar_) reported@ViCustomerCare Is this the change you have got? Really? We are expecting something that benefits customers who want to switch from other network. Since Airtel has raised minimum recharge plan to Rs.350/- We assume that you won't do the same mistake.
