@InspectorRahul_ @TelecomTalk @ViCustomerCare First step : Emailing them (the merchant) Second : Complaint to NCH (National Consumer Helpline) if merchant doesn’t resolve issue within 30 days. Third : Send a legal notice, and mention specifically a timeline and if they fail to do so within that timeline, they will be liable for all the legal expenditure occurred during the court proceedings. Fourth : File a case in district/state/national consumer court, depending upon the amount involved. Depending upon lawyer and the court, the case get resolved within 3-4 years or less…

My number was deactivated for a routine @ViCustomerCare 'Re-KYC'. DoT MNRL lists numbers for: Fraud, Inactivity, or Failed re-verification. Mine was a simple KYC issue. Yet @KotakBankLtd arbitrarily froze my account, denying the RBI-mandated Re-KYC option.
