@Silver_Hobbit Yeah I think the problem with these comparisons are that Warframe didn't remove story content. And FF still tells 1.0s story through the 2.0 story by referencing it and letting you put it together. Hardly anything in shadow keep and BL tell you anything about what happened.

@yournewcaptain @Djxyz0 That's also a problem I can't understand why Bungie keeps using p2p servers (Warframe also has that problem), I know dedicated servers are expensive but they've shown that are a good option to avoid a lot of those problems

@IDoomzyy @DSR_Joker You starting to see the issue here? You cant just remove old content because it is old. If you did it in far more popular franchises people would riot. And on the other side of things games like warframe evolve without removing old content. So whats bungies deal?

D2 has a massive traversal problem. Classes have a similar mobility envelope, many levels are spent in a linear slog from A to B, and there’s nothing to really trivialize that. Warframe base mobility handles like a basic shooter but once you figure out advanced mechanics,

@GonPineda @PlayApex This is what im saying. Is not possible when i play monster hunter or warframe (that should lag) is fine, but when i play apex the ping go to 200 for no reason. And i got a good internet

@ToonTris The issue I have is that I can think of way harder games to program this for with way smaller studios, such as Warframe and Paladins. I’m not really willing to make excuses for any Triple A company, with enough of their $ they could likely figure it out.

@SilensMort @idontevenplayd1 @cinemamotionss That simply means Warframe's engine was built for continuous updates over a long period of time. Either way, I'm not excusing Bungie, I'm just giving a reason as to why they're removing content. If I was them, I'd rebuild the entire game on a new engine to solve the problem.

Anyone know of any decent live service games besides destiny/warframe. After the recent stuff with bungie I honestly say I don’t think I’ll ever get back into destiny unless something actually catches my interest, and even after being away for 2 years warframe is still the same.

Cloud gaming should be used to bring games over that are either impossible to run natively or already require you to be connected to the internet. online/service based games such as Final Fantasy XIV, Warframe, Dota/League, GTAV online, Rainbow Six Seige, Apex etc..

@horrorsmoked Yeah lol. Also I find the missions to be long, which it’s bad casue the loot is always good but I be Drained like physically it’s weird. I know it sounds weird I never have those problems when I played, warframe, anthem, etc.

@DestinyNewsCom I understand it's an issue with the file size, but Warframe was able to have many different planets and locations without running into a problem. Idk how warframe plays or how it works, it could be something different, but I feel like something could be done.

Maybe it's just me, but the DCV seems like an extremely lazy solution to a problem that feels like it shouldn't exist. Game dev is hard yes, but there are plenty of other examples (Warframe, and WoW to name a few) that have 5x more content than destiny but have smaller sizes.

@SugarfreeJake @epzi10n Apparently people have said FF14 and Warframe which are the closest and also insanely different games have had similar things happen. Wether you agree or not Bungie stated big content causes issues and they’re actively working on that but it’s just not possible atm to hold.

@Silver_Hobbit Warframe removed them to rework them, they have their own engine(which they compare it to a noodle soup, you touch one thing and everything moves), destiny engine isn't made to be GIGANTIC in size,having everything released would decrease the fps by a lot and hard to fix bugs

@Jukantos It might not be a problem for Warframe specifically, they have their own other issues, but it is for Destiny 2 and I bet that if the solution was as easy as to compress the files further, I'm convinced Bungie would've tried that by now.

And the only content that has ever been removed is content that was fundamentally broken. Seriously. I dont even play warframe anymore, but that game is still leagues beyond what destiny does.

@lilspillz69420 @BadBunnyTwitch Kenshi is pretty cool, if a bit janky. Warframe is great if you can tolerate that kinda game. IMO the least terrible Live Service game in terms of monetization mechanics.
