@facebookapp 's (@instagram and @WhatsApp too) servers were down for like 45 minutes. And pretty sure everyone panicked out there (including me duh!!). Which just showed how dependent we are to technology and that's pretty crazy. #WhatsAppDown #instagramdown #facebookdown

@WhatsApp A better error message would help reduce user frustration during an outage. Displaying "No internet connection" when the issue is specific to WhatsApp servers or connectivity is so misleading and leads people down unnecessary rabbit holes and panic to figure out what's wrong.
