I am not able to make online payment as their site is not opening for bill payment, can't reach their customer service despite several days of efforts. Raghunathan tk (@raghunathtk) reported@JM_Scindia @Officejmscindia . My monthly FTTH Bill is about ₹700 from MTNL, Mumbai. Now BSNL has raised a bill for ₹1394 . They are asking for advance pmt for January too and paid by 19th January ie before utilisation. Is it fair to customer @BSNLCorporate .

From Jan 1, 2025, BSNL runs all MTNL telecom ops (fixed-line, broadband, mobile) in Delhi/Mumbai under a 10-year EBITDA-neutral agreement—handling maintenance, capex, services. MTNL retains its legal entity solely for asset monetization (prime land, towers, e.g., BKC sale) to service debts. MTNL staff bridge both during transition, creating overlap and unclear reporting until DoT finalizes absorption/redeployment. HR issues (promotions, benefits) pending; unions pushing for options like BSNL integration or DoT return. Direction should improve post-resolution.
