Shivendra (@shivendra79) reported from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh@Vishj05 @rohini_sgh If this is true I am glad that I as tax payer won't burn cash on BSNL /MTNL inefficiency. It is not government but employees who have led BSNL to slow death.

Cockroach (@genz_cockroach) reported@wegro_app Even with the Govt guarantee, this 'Rating Watch Negative' is a big red flag for MTNL. Their unsupported rating is already at 'CRISIL D' because of liquidity issues. If they keep missing the T-3 funding dates for the escrow, even the guaranteed bonds might face heat.

Gujju_singhThakur (@Gs_Bishtldos) reportedCurrently, only Airtel and Jio have a monopoly in the country, and recharge prices are increasing day by day. They have very skillfully eliminated all other telecom companies by offering them for free first. Now they have started such recovery for their three months of free service that it's unbelievable. Monopoly in any field can only lead to inflation and helplessness. If Vodafone, Idea, Tata Docomo, MTNL, Aircel, and other companies existed today, Jio and Airtel wouldn't be able to dictate terms. The government also seems to be standing in their favor. It appears the government has handed over everything to these selected companies. Who will treat these predatory companies that offer 28 days of recharge in a 30-day month? Other options for the country's citizens have been deliberately eliminated. This is absolutely not right, and I strongly oppose this monopoly. @PMOIndia @airtelindia @reliancejio

Gaurav M Tripathi (@GauravT71548031) reported@theamitkpaul Without going into what you said, the origin of the discussion was the space sector. That is what I commented on to begin with. I stand by what I said about Space sector start ups doing good work. Likewise, service standards, costs, and technology in telecom has improved leaps and bounds. I do not mourn the demise of MTNL and BSNL at all. I see no reason to do so, other than ideological nostalgia. The other thing you said about the chaebols is a discussion by itself. But the bogey of Adani cannot be used as a veto to perpetuate public sector inefficiencies which didn't cause growth or innovation, but were somehow acceptable because a govt servant making unaccounted money didn't seem as bad. It's a long discussion. And I'm out for now.
