It couldn’t put funds into a special escrow account for the next interest payment on its bonds due to not having enough cash. Samir Arora (@Iamsamirarora) reportedOne of the biggest reforms was that govt got out of infra- otherwise we had companies like doordarshan and mtnl and BSNL and old psu banks etc. If u think govt is a better implementer of projects u are getting carried away with finding new issues which have been long settled. u can compare our private infrastructure with wherever in the same country we have govt built or owned infrastructure.

Currently, around 4–5 months of rent is still pending, and despite multiple complaints, there has been no resolution. Every time I follow up, I am given verbal assurances like “payment will be done this month or next month,” but nothing actually happens. This kind of negligence is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. I request the concerned authorities to take this matter seriously and clear all pending dues immediately.@MTNLOfficial @MTNL @narendramodi
