Not that BSNL/ MTNL was doing a wonderful job ( I had to take 1/2 day leave everytime the home landline came down - that's monthly), but wish your friends change now!

MTNL and BSNL had a head start of decades, infrastructure across the entire country, and zero debt initially. Jio launched in 2016. BSNL was already struggling long before that. The real killers were delayed decisions (4G came years late), bureaucratic deadweight, and a workforce that grew without accountability.

There is no network of MTNL in our area since 2 yrs.Employees in MTNL knows about it but they are not interested. Since thee is no network e can't port our no to other service provider. Vijay Kumar (@CampakCampu) reported@mid_day Both BSNL & MTNL are now stopping copper lines & their linemen telling, rather forcing people to buy their sub standard fiber internet connections. Local cable network fiber internet is much more efficient in MMRDA area than these 2 companies & cheaper too.
