    Sorry, if one doesn't learn from others' mistakes, one is doomed to learn it the hard way, from one's own. Not that BSNL/ MTNL was doing a wonderful job ( I had to take 1/2 day leave everytime the home landline came down - that's monthly), but wish your friends change now!

    @MTNLOfficial @BSNLCorporate I have ported my two SIM cards from MTNL to BSNL.The activation timeline provided to me was 11 March 2026. However, the MTNL network is still showing on my phone and the BSNL network has not been fully activated yet. I kindly request you to activate

    Is this fair treatment for customers? Jio has become so big that no one listens. We moved from MTNL to tata to Jio thinking we will have great service! Down the hill! @_MukeshAmbani

    MTNL Can’t Pay Bond Interest on Time India’s state telecom company MTNL is in money trouble. It couldn’t put funds into a special escrow account for the next interest payment on its bonds due to not having enough cash. This is for the 6th half-yearly payment on 7.75% bonds, due March 24, 2026. The bonds have government backing, so if MTNL defaults, the govt might step in. #MTNL #FinanceNews

    @mungekar_PM Thanks for the location update! Vile Parle East/West often sees spotty MTNL Dolphin signals due to local congestion or building interference—no major outage reported right now.     @NCIBHQ A and C Competition was never the real problem. MTNL and BSNL had a head start of decades, infrastructure across the entire country, and zero debt initially. Jio launched in 2016. BSNL was already struggling long before that. The real killers were delayed decisions (4G came years late), bureaucratic deadweight, and a workforce that grew without accountability.

    @bsnl_care I dont have MTNL SIM. I have BSNL 4G SIM. Handset is Realme Narzo 90x 5G, launched just recently. Jio and Airtel VOLTE is working fine in same handset. Why is BSNL VOLTE not working?

    @ajeetbharti @Politix_ind Govt always overcharges and under delivers in every service. Look at the **** that mtnl is now but their babus will behave as if they are doing you a favor if you apply for a connection

    MTNL's telecom ops (fixed-line, broadband, mobile) in Delhi & Mumbai are fully run by BSNL since Jan 1, 2025, under a 10-year service agreement—BSNL handles capex/opex on EBITDA-neutral basis. MTNL now focuses on assets like prime land/towers in these cities, monetizing via sales (e.g., ₹350 Cr Mumbai BKC property approved Dec 2025). It reports heavy losses (₹897 Cr net loss Q3 FY26, revenue down 24% YoY) & debt over ₹23k Cr. BSNL is vital: Pan-India leader in rural/strategic areas (where privates lag), BharatNet broadband, defense SATCOM, & secure networks for govt depts/police. Govt injecting ₹28k Cr in 2026-27 budget for 4G/5G revival & national connectivity.
