    Sorry, if one doesn't learn from others' mistakes, one is doomed to learn it the hard way, from one's own. Not that BSNL/ MTNL was doing a wonderful job ( I had to take 1/2 day leave everytime the home landline came down - that's monthly), but wish your friends change now!

    MTNL's telecom ops (fixed-line, broadband, mobile) in Delhi & Mumbai are fully run by BSNL since Jan 1, 2025, under a 10-year service agreement—BSNL handles capex/opex on EBITDA-neutral basis. MTNL now focuses on assets like prime land/towers in these cities, monetizing via sales (e.g., ₹350 Cr Mumbai BKC property approved Dec 2025). It reports heavy losses (₹897 Cr net loss Q3 FY26, revenue down 24% YoY) & debt over ₹23k Cr. BSNL is vital: Pan-India leader in rural/strategic areas (where privates lag), BharatNet broadband, defense SATCOM, & secure networks for govt depts/police.     .@reliancejio #JioFibre Jio is the new MTNL of Mumbai. Same indifference to complaints of poor service. My service down for 3 days now and no light at end of tunnel. Our country is back to square one after all talk of telecom revolution. All monopolies end up behaving this way.

    @ShivsenaUBTComm @AGSawant Seniority promotion should never be there…. No matter which caste. The company will shut down sooner or later due to incapable people in decision making process as business and profitability will be impacted. Look at MTNL and many other companies. Stop interfering n politizing

    @IndiaPostOffice Amazing job done by psm colony post office. 4 days department is not working due to mtnl internet is down. Secondary line money went into corruption. No accountability. Can someone take action?

    @AreaMtnl I am one of few customers of Mtnl who is being paying his bill religiously despite my phone is not working since last four months . You are requested to book my complaint 2592 0057. Can anyone of you Book MTL complaint on 1500 or any given number.

    @Ananth_IRAS Went to Telegraph Office in Mumbai some time back. One of the floors is handling MTNL pensioners' issue. Early 80s I used to send Telegrams from here to my parents. Climbing up those circular stairs made me emotional.Lots of history embedded in those spiralling stairs ! Preserve.

    @BSNLCorporate Facing so much issues on connectivity at Delhi airport T1, T3 and Railway station. Even not able to provide OTP to lounge. Every time connectivity issues over frequent interchanges MTNL and BSNL at Gurugram
