Sorry, if one doesn't learn from others' mistakes, one is doomed to learn it the hard way, from one's own. Not that BSNL/ MTNL was doing a wonderful job ( I had to take 1/2 day leave everytime the home landline came down - that's monthly), but wish your friends change now!

@CAChirag After 3 to 4 years after canceling my mtnl mobile number they send me bill. The officer at mtnl office said that mtnl does not cancel mobile number only with letter. You need to surrender the sim. Now after so many 4 Years after giving letter for canceling now they want sim.

The guys who moved from mtnl or a govt lead phone lines to singing jingles of vodafone, airtel and jio... probably using their (now privatized) network to post the congress led concept of #IndiaOnSale Irony at its best! Who pays employees better? Pvt ltd or govt?

@marinebharat BSNL and MTNL like Air India are loosing tax payer money, they are still stuck in top up era recharge plans, their customer service is pathetic but still govt is monetising it.. Only 2 folk in our locality use it, don't know why it is still kept afloat?

@MTNLOfficial landline no.28803155 no outstanding amt is there still my landline is not working from past 3 months i went many a times at MTNL malad west but they always give me fake reason (staff nahi hai).request you to sort out this matter at earliest thankyou
