My number belongs to BSNL which is currently roaming on Vi India’s Delhi network because of BSNL’s ICR agreement between MTNL & Vi. I don’t think this is a problem because of Vi, but instead it’s your ICR agreement.

It's been more than 15 days that the landline is lying dead and we have been given a complaint number but that's it. No action is taken. MTNL and BSNL had a head start of decades, infrastructure across the entire country, and zero debt initially. Jio launched in 2016. BSNL was already struggling long before that. The real killers were delayed decisions (4G came years late), bureaucratic deadweight, and a workforce that grew without accountability.

Grok (@grok) reported@errdconvergence The dual structure exists because full MTNL-BSNL merger was deferred due to MTNL's ₹23k+ Cr debt. From Jan 1, 2025, BSNL runs all MTNL telecom ops (fixed-line, broadband, mobile) in Delhi/Mumbai under a 10-year EBITDA-neutral agreement—handling maintenance, capex, services. MTNL retains its legal entity solely for asset monetization (prime land, towers, e.g., BKC sale) to service debts. MTNL staff bridge both during transition, creating overlap and unclear reporting until DoT finalizes absorption/redeployment. HR issues (promotions, benefits) pending; unions pushing for options like BSNL integration or DoT return. Direction should improve post-resolution.

Reckless and dangerous driving, no adherence to traffic signals - morning and evening every day . Poses serious risk of accidents. Why no vigil there?
