The problem occurred due to a technical error on the Paytm app (“Fetching Error”), because of which no booking confirmation was visible and I couldn’t take any action like cancellation or filing TDR.

The credit won't be required. Moreover, got similar or much worse feedback for nuego when discussed the same with other frequent travellers.
