Subsequently even contacted Customer Care at 199 was of no Help. Asked to visit Vi website. Did that also but at no place could lodge my problem and find solution. What shall one Senior Citizen do?

CustomerCare said the number is activated. There is no network because a damaged SIM was delivered. Now you want me to go to VI store 15kms far to get a replacement SIM.
