Airtel India Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Chennaite (@Chennai360_) reportedIam sure Airtel and their customers know it has the world worst customer service App. It’s almost 5days and I can’t raise a complaint.. there is no option to submit a complaint . Temporary congestion for 5days? And enter valid information of the information you leave? Screen shot of the App and WhatsApp bot @airtelindia @Airtel_Presence
-
Smita Sharma (@Smita_Sharma) reportedHi @airtelindia are all your customer agents sleeping? Have been trying to reach for past half hour to cancel an inflight international roaming pack that I purchased by mistake. Yet to board flight so can cancel but neither any response on toll free number nor any way to do it on app.
-
Shivasai Nanii (@ShivasaiNanii) reportedShorter version @airtelindia I’ve complained many times about the poor network in my area, but there’s still no improvement. For 2 years, I’ve faced very low signal, slow internet and constant video buffering. Despite repeated complaints, the issue remains unresolved. Please fix
-
Rakesh (@rakeshrok20) reported@airtelindia I have raised request in last month regarding network and Internet issue after 15 to 20 days i have received that request is closed and they have asked to raise again. My problem still not solved but if you are taking to resolve issues more than 1 months then it's a joke. I have raised request again but again the msg is coming that it will resolve within 15 days. If this issue not resolved then i have to go for different network.
-
ansh (@kapoorfeels) reportedDear @airtelindia I paid my Airtel postpaid bill, but my services have still been suspended. This is completely unacceptable. I have also not received any bank OTPs or payment-related notifications, which is causing further inconvenience. If my payment has been successfully processed, there is no valid reason for my services to remain suspended. I expect this issue to be resolved urgently. I do not want to face any further disruption because of an error on Airtel’s side.
-
rohidas waghmare (@rohidas390SW) reported@airtelindia And then your customer care has the audacity to tell me not to use Airtel data for hotspot/commercial use and instead buy Airtel WiFi. Why the hell would I buy WiFi when I’m already paying for a postpaid connection every month that is advertised as “Unlimited”?
-
Carpe Diem (@actanonverba_07) reported@airtelindia As usual they are ignoring the problems of their customers. I have been one of the firat customers for @airtelindia when they first started their services. When I spoke about this issue one of their staff told me to cut off the cables and throw them out. Absolutely outrageous
-
ACHYUT DESHPANDE (@ACHYUTDESHPAND3) reported@airtelindia Paid all bills last month and requested the ₹699 Parent–Child merger. Airtel didn't process it… and now sent me an extra bill. I won't pay charges caused by Airtel's own failure. 48 hours to fix it. Otherwise, complaint with the appropriate authorities. #Airtel
-
Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore (@RickSanchezz_69) reported@airtelindia Normal SMS are working both ways, but I am not receiving OTP SMS from any service. I have tested multiple apps/services. Please check whether transactional/A2P OTP SMS are being blocked or filtered on my number and reprovision/reset the SMS service from the backend

Rajendar Reddy (@chrajendarreddy) reported@TRAI @DoT_India @airtelindia — A question from a consumer, viewed through an impact-assessment lens: Should telecom QoS be assessed only by network parameters and complaint-closure statistics, or should we also consider the real-world impact of persistently poor/unstable connectivity on consumers? My experience with operators involved repeated 4G/5G inconsistencies at the same premises, multiple tests, G-Net coordinates, repeated information requests and complaints being marked “resolved” while the underlying experience continued. There is another dimension worth examining. Weak/unstable cellular connectivity can make a handset work harder to maintain connectivity, increasing energy consumption. At an individual level this may be small; at population scale, however, any systematic increase in device energy consumption represents additional electricity demand and potentially an environmental footprint. I am not suggesting that this impact has already been quantified or that it should automatically be attributed to a particular operator. I am asking whether it should be studied. TRAI is already assessing mobile network quality across locations and publishing QoS performance. Could future QoS assessment consider not only network availability and speed, but also actual customer experience, complaint-resolution effectiveness, premature closures and—where scientifically measurable—the wider energy implications of persistently poor connectivity? A network should ultimately be evaluated by the quality of service actually experienced by the consumer—not merely by whether the network exists or the complaint is marked closed.
