Went in person to your Airtel Centre in Powai and the staff not only asks for the sim (it’s in international roaming) but rudely yells to leave as they can’t help! Disgusting

Pratik Mohanty (@mohanty_pratik) reported@airtelindia Company-owned Airtel store in Bandra West / Mumbai is refusing a new prepaid SIM. I am an Indian citizen and NRI, currently in India, with a valid Indian passport. The passport has my Germany address. Staff say they cannot issue a SIM because of that foreign address. I offered separate Indian stay/address proof for PoA and asked for document KYC, not Aadhaar e-KYC. They still refused and would not put the reason in writing.
