Complaint raised will be resolved within 15 days so that means in monthly scheme i won't be able use for 15 days so who will be answerable. Earlier, I was using a WiFi extender/router along with your broadband connection without any issues. Recently, during a complaint visit, your technician informed me that the usage of WiFi extenders has been technically restricted or blocked from the backend team side. I humbly request Airtel authorities to kindly allow the usage of WiFi extender/router so that I can access uninterrupted broadband connectivity throughout my premises. The extender is essential for proper signal coverage and smooth internet usage. If the restriction continues, I may be forced to cancel the existing broadband connection and shift to another broadband service provider who permits such usage. Prajuwal (@PrajuwalSingh) reported@Airtel_Presence @airtelindia My Xstream Fiber router’s 5 GHz Wi-Fi is stuck on DFS channel 52, transmitting at extremely low TX power (~3 dBm), causing bad latency, retransmits and poor throughput. need a remote config push from ACS to set 5 GHz channel to fixed 36/40/44/48 (non-DFS UNII-1), 80 MHz width, instead of Auto. Already tried “Optimise Wi-Fi” in Airtel Thanks app - it claimed 52→44, but after reboot + Wi-Fi scan, router is still on 52. So changes didn’t actually apply. ( attaching screenshot for reference, it didn't do what it says it has done, seems like it's purely cosmetic) Please escalate to L2/network engineering and raise a ticket. This is a config issue, not a restart/technician issue.
