4 days later, the sim is still not working. I was using a spare 2016 phone in the meanwhile, so I assumed the sim was fine but the new @airtelindia sim didn't work because the phone was not 5g. Today I got a brand new phone and was excited to get my life back on track. 7/n

@airtelindia's solution is to get the sim disabled, get another sim, which is a 5 day long process, for which my sr citizen father will have to again go to Airtel office and deal with their incompetent staff. @airtelindia Band kardo apni company, tumse nahi ho pa raha hai. n/n
