One more thing, the Call Center isn't equipped to answer queries & did not provide any resolution on approx 11 calls made over last 21 days. When asked to speak to supervisor, (s)he was "Busy" in important work ! I wonder!!!

There is no option to disable them in the SIM settings, and even searching online for a text-message-based solution doesn't work. Is this the reason I switched jio?

@jurai ツ (@am_jurai) reported@airtelindia you guys silently removed the 5g topup and when I contacted the customer care they told me to upgrade to postpaid and I can use it and then I can just cancel and move back to prepaid and it would not cost my anything. I have the audio recording of that. You are scam!

Requested for 1 postpaid account disconnection on 27th Jun'26. No confirmation so far Seems like Airtel is more interested in selling add-ons but not help someone disconnect
