After confirming availability of Fibernet in my location, I surrendered bsnl connection, paid 1 year tariff to Airtel but connecting team said no F'net. I felt cheated. This being a govt unit would have suffered the same lethargy that PSUs did till early 2000s and would have probably been a cash dump like BSNL.

My internet journey had begun from BSNL 3G. But still nearby towers are still on 2G, recieving 4G services from almost a BTS 8KMs away. @bsnl_care
