@sanjeevsanyal @ViCustomerCare @TRAI Jio informed me to assess the bills and pay about Rs 100 extra for a buffer period. Ported smoothly. Later got a reminder from Jio to pay up VI for the remaining. I had to pay using Customer ID, instead of ported phone number, didn't receive recepit. But the issue was closed.

E.g. charging you for clicking on a channel preview on the TV, making it absurdly intransparent and difficult to cancel contracts, not allowing direct debit etc. Shame.

They're notorious for this It was after I raised the matter with their appellate authority that it got resolved, but yes, it took time to get resolved Voda even notified my new provider & I started getting msgs that service will be stopped
