Thanks @reliancejio, while I'm downloading something at one point it reached 4Mb/s. where @airtelindia struggled to reach 50kb/s. They call themselves India's no.1 network.

@airtelindia my number was inactive. Chatbot/automated call asked me to recharge to activate my sim again. Did so, sim is still not active. Customer care number is useless. Keeps on saying recharge to activate the sim and disconnects the call.
