Shrikant (@Zorba_tha_Budha) reported@Airtel_Presence @airtelindia — This is daylight robbery and I want answers, not another apology template. I pay for a 200 Mbps broadband plan. Since 16th July, I’ve been getting 1 Mbps. When I called customer care, I was told I had “exhausted my monthly data quota” and was sold a ₹300 booster with 500 GB valid till 25th July. Next morning — 1 Mbps again. Your team’s explanation? I apparently consumed 500 GB IN ONE DAY. Let me put that in perspective: 500 GB in a day means downloading roughly 100 full HD movies overnight. I was barely using my PC. This has now happened repeatedly — I’ve been forced to buy THREE boosters just to be able to work from home, and every single morning I’m back to 1 Mbps with the same absurd claim. Not one person at Airtel can explain HOW this data is being consumed. No usage logs. No device-wise breakdown. No investigation. Just the same script on every call: “Sir, please purchase a booster.” This is either a serious billing/metering failure on your network or a deliberate scam to milk customers through boosters. Either way, your customer support is the most pathetic I have ever dealt with — zero knowledge, zero accountability, zero escalation. Here is what I want, in writing: 1A complete usage log proving your 500 GB/day claim 2A refund of all three boosters 3A written explanation of this metering failure If I don’t get this, I’m disconnecting this connection permanently and filing formal complaints with TRAI and the National Consumer Helpline. I’ll also make sure this experience is documented publicly for others considering Airtel broadband. And as I write this — I am STILL getting 1 Mbps. So tell me @airtelindia, what should I do now? Buy another booster?

Sabyasachi Dash (@BeingSabya) reported@Airtel_Presence @airtelindia Your 3rd Grade 3rd Lane 5G is not working in my mobile while I have a postpaid sim and having s23 ultra. Your shameless service team is clueless and only opening/closing service requests. @TRAI

Ayush Tyagi 🇮🇳 (@AyushBhajpayi) reportedWe have 4 postpaid mobile connections, 2 broadband connections, and 1 TV connection, all with Airtel. We hardly use mobile data because we are almost always connected to Wi-Fi. However, when we travel or in an emergency, I occasionally use my mobile hotspot to connect my laptop, and it is extremely useful. Removing this option is unreasonable, and if it is discontinued, we will have no choice but to port all our connections out of Airtel. @Airtel_Presence @airtelindia

clippy (@mahima13patel) reportedDo not get @airtelindia wifi. Worst service ever. There's no way to connect to a real customer support executive. Only when you want to purchase a new connection they call you. Otherwise @Airtel_Presence doesn't listen to their own customers who are paying for their services!!

ಪವನಕುಮಾರ/Pavankumar A N🇮🇳. (ಮೋದಿ ಕುಟುಂಬದವ) (@MrCMofKA) reportedI was famous for getting refund from @airtelindia in my family and family friends circle. This fraud company used to deduct money even though none of our family members opted for ringtone. As there is no option I have opted for Airtel fibre. One of the worst service by them. Even in stores, executive idiots forces us to open bank account in their airtel payments Bank for nothing.

Appeal filed with Appellate Authority TN on 19 Jul. Still no reference number or response. Who is accountable here?
