Ajai 👨💻 (@ajaimanickam) reported from Pollachi, Tamil NaduSo for us to avoid this issue going forward until @JioCare fixes it, its best to recharge with a different denomination if you exceed the data in the current plan but you still have validity for few more days. And this issue is only there for the 4G data voucher plans.

Ajai 👨💻 (@ajaimanickam) reported from Pollachi, Tamil NaduIts ridiculous; it could be a probable glitch. Customer care accepted this is the case and told they will fix this issue with the relevant teams intervention "ASAP". This is so basic, wondering how this logic is even in effect in the first place. @reliancejio @JioCare

SN (@sunleo6) reported@JioCare @JioCare You should investigate what is really happening at the ground level. In our apartment, the Jio distribution box is controlled only by Jio technicians. The available ports are already full. Instead of installing additional infrastructure, some technicians appear to be disconnecting an existing customer’s cable to provide a new connection or restore another customer’s service. The disconnected customer then loses internet for 2–3 days while continuing to pay the full monthly charges. If this is happening, it is completely unethical and seriously damages customer trust. Is this an accepted practice, or is it happening because new distribution boxes are not being installed when capacity is exhausted? In my case, my 80+ year-old parents live alone and are not tech-savvy. I repeatedly explained this to your customer care team. One agent insisted that my father reconnect to Wi-Fi and reboot the system himself, despite being told he was unable to do so. The agent then claimed the issue was resolved remotely. When I questioned him, he simply left the call connected with devotional music (Venkateswara Suprabhatham) playing for nearly 15 minutes instead of arranging a technician visit. Only after I reached a compassionate customer care executive who patiently listened to the issue was a technician finally assigned. The technician confirmed what I had suspected—the connection had been unplugged at the distribution box. It took three days to restore the service. Three days without internet. Three days of paid service lost. No apology, no proactive communication, no service extension, and no compensation. Jio, this is not just a technical issue. It is about customer ethics, accountability, and respect. Please investigate what is happening at the field level and ensure customers are not made to suffer because of avoidable operational practices.
