I was told it is mandatory valid for 28 days or so and from next month onwards I'm free to choose any plan. Is it compulsory for a new customer to recharge for ₹240 after completing the MNP process to activate the sim?

Called your 18008969999 at least 15 times and only time slot keeps changing. It was supposed to be fixed today and service engineer assigned was Atul Dixit 8076802474 who was supposed to fix it before 8:00pm.
