The funny response from the Jio customer care is that the area is not cover by Jio network. But than how come so many users could use the network for around 2yrs before June 2018.

Akhilesh Bhat (@akhileshb95) reported@unassertive @JioCare Yes. You need to put the Jio SIM in the router and it'll give you wifi. If you need to improve your signal, connect an external antenna to router. That antenna can be at a higher elevation & facing the tower.
