I was told it is mandatory valid for 28 days or so and from next month onwards I'm free to choose any plan. Is it compulsory for a new customer to recharge for ₹240 after completing the MNP process to activate the sim?

But was disappointed to see ads in the Indian Serials in Hotstar app. Based on what was communicated, I was promised a premium subscription. Speaking to your customer care did not help. The worst part is that they are not calling only that particular number, but also other mobile numbers registered under the same name. I asked them what would happen if I didn’t recharge that number. He said they would continue making repeated calls until we recharge it.
