Neil (@neilghosh) reported from Rājendranagar, Telangana@UdayMannam @ACTFibernet Yes Uday, the router has to be labelled as “Gigabit” to get speed beyond 100mbps. For now you can test it directly plugging the lan cable (from ISP) to computer to rule out other possibility like wiring defect or network setting on network adapter of computer .

It is very very bad response from them its been a two weeks that i have raised for new connection every thing is done from my end but the thing is they have did not installed the internet till now and not even call back. You'll have this correct for a week now and when you check the speed it'll drop again. I faced same issue and my speed would even drop to 1-3 Mbps. They're not even give response. I had my connection and due to their fault they disconnected.
