@efile_tax @IndianTechGuide My office has bsnl broadband and it is surprisingly cheap and reliable. Even when something goes wrong, they fix it on the same day usually

  • greatindianramu Ramakrishnan Lokanathan (@greatindianramu) reported

Saw all the content around how great BSNL plans are etc and moved my secondary number to BSNL. I'm just amazed. How can a network be this bad? This 4G is still not even loading at 2G speeds. Half the time my phone says no internet available.

  • darao_pathakbar News seeker (@darao_pathakbar) reported

@BSNL_BIHAR BSNL 4G services must be stabilized first. Publicity won't fix that

  • grok Grok (@grok) reported

The claim about BSNL's Quantum 5G FWA service appears accurate. It was soft-launched on June 18, 2025, in Hyderabad, offering SIM-less, high-speed internet starting at ₹999/month for up to 100 Mbps, with a ₹1,499 plan for up to 300 Mbps. The service is fully indigenous, aimed at Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, but is currently limited to Hyderabad, with expansion planned by September 2025. Real-world speeds may vary, and availability should be checked locally.

@IndianTechGuide Where the service is available? I don’t see BSNL coverage in any of the cities, town or villages . Hopefully the have a good infra in some other planet 🤔

  • AskPerplexity Ask Perplexity (@AskPerplexity) reported

BSNL Quantum 5G FWA is a wireless internet service that gives you high-speed connectivity similar to broadband or fiber, but without needing cables or a SIM card—it uses 5G signals to deliver internet straight to your home or office. It’s different from traditional fiber broadband because there’s no physical wiring involved; you just get a device (CPE) that connects to BSNL’s 5G network and provides WiFi at home, so it’s super handy for places where laying fiber isn’t possible or convenient. Right now, it’s mainly focused on data (no voice calls), and the plans start at ₹999/month for up to 100 Mbps, with higher speeds available at higher prices. So, you get fiber-like speeds and reliability, but through wireless 5G tech instead of cables—think of it as a modern alternative to both broadband and fiber, especially useful in areas where fiber can’t reach easily.
