A 2025 CAG report claimed BSNL failed to bill Jio for additional technology usage, causing a ₹1,757 crore loss (including interest) to the government from 2014-2024. However, BSNL and the government disputed this, stating no actual revenue loss occurred due to misinterpretation of clauses. BSNL has since raised revised invoices to address it.

  @aaraynsh Have BSNL As A Secondary SIM Bro. During My Trips To UP East And Odisha Last Year, Vi Often Lost Network Where BSNL 3G And 4G Worked Fine Even In Many Famous Places . Even From Chhattisgarh’s Border To Puri, Vi Was Mostly On 2G And Even In Puri I Faced Call Drops & OTP Delays.🫠
