@Ateendriyo There is a school of thought that having a government controlled communications network is actually good for national security. After the execution of VRS package, BSNL has actually become operationally profitable. This package is only 40000 crores in actual cash. Rest is in kind

Jio pays taxes, and provides connectivity to these far flung villages whenever possible, a task that's not theirs but of BSNL. BSNL fails in its own job, and the govt uses taxes (your, mine and that of Jio) to support BSNL.

BSNL will not only have to improve its efficiency, service quality and acquire enough users to build sufficient scale and volume. And this doesn’t take into account increased competition from players like Jio, Airtel and newer players if any. Let's see how this pans out.

@BJP4India The one thing majorly responsible for this condition of #BSNL is the employees They never cared for customers or expansion or how to expand into market. And they have zero vision of future.

Indian Railway India Post BSNL etc are some entities which were the backbone of modern age India. But due corruption, lazy attitude of employees and govt negligence these entities can never do any innovation & modernisation.

@bhanda_deepak @akhileshsharma1 BSNL was first to get 3G license with Eight Months room to be ahead of private players. Money was allocated for setting up the network at much higher value than pvt. Babus worked overtime to bring in Chinese. No one else quoted. Chinese picked all zones. Then wrecked rules.

Other day I was talking about BSNL's service.I am now in Gr Noida & there is no mobile network.This s d service our National Mobile provider is providing.ha ha.will some one own the responsibility orGovt will simply be providing money to lift BSNL.Need to change to a pvt operator
